YumLit Affiliate Marketing Program Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the YumLit Affiliate Marketing Program (“Program”). By signing up as an Affiliate (“You”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions with YumLit, LLC (“YumLit,” “We,” or “Us”).

1. Program Overview

The YumLit Affiliate Program allows individuals and organizations to earn a 10% commission on verified sales referred to YumLit through a unique tracking link. The goal is to reward supporters who help us spread awareness and drive sales of our products.

 

2. Eligibility

  • The program is open to individuals aged 18 and over worldwide.

  • Participation is subject to acceptance and compliance with these Terms.

  • Affiliates may not use the program for any illegal, misleading, or unethical marketing activity.

  • YumLit reserves the right to reject or terminate any Affiliate account at its discretion.

 

3. Referral Links & Tracking

  • Each Affiliate receives a unique referral link containing a personalized tracking code or UTM parameter.

  • A commission is earned for each verified sale generated through the Affiliate’s link.

  • Tracking is managed through YumLit’s integrated referral tracking system, for attribution matching to each Affiliate’s unique ID.

  • Only purchases made through the correct link are eligible for commission.

 

4. Duration of Tracking and Commission Eligibility

  • Commissions are paid for all verified sales linked to the Affiliate’s unique ID while the account remains active. This approach simplifies tracking and ensures ongoing recognition for the Affiliate’s impact.

  • Tracking cookies associated with each Affiliate’s unique referral link do not expire. There is no set cookie duration. Verified sales generated at any time through the Affiliate’s valid and active referral link are eligible for commission, provided the Affiliate’s account remains in good standing and all other program terms are met.

 

5. Commission Structure

  • Affiliates earn 10% of proceeds for every completed sale referred.

  • “Proceeds” are calculated after applicable Kickstarter fees, taxes, refunds, and discounts.

  • Commissions are payable after order verification and the end of each campaign or quarter. Affiliates will only receive commissions if the Kickstarter campaign successfully reaches its funding goal. Once Kickstarter confirms the campaign is funded and all backer payments have cleared, YumLit will pay Affiliates 10% of the verified net pledge amount generated through their referral links.

  • Payments are made via PayPal or another agreed method in the amount of the calculated commission based on the terms of this agreement. Payment processing fees, taxes, or related charges are not covered by YumLit. Payments are made once the total owed exceeds $50.

6. Marketing & Conduct Guidelines

Affiliates must:

  • Promote YumLit honestly and in good faith.

  • Use YumLit’s approved brand assets, or create original content consistent with YumLit’s brand guidelines.

  • Affiliates must not use medical or exaggerated terms (e.g., “cures,” “guarantees,” or similar claims) or make any promise of specific results.

  • Avoid spam, misleading claims, or inappropriate content.

  • Refrain from bidding on “YumLit” branded search terms or impersonating YumLit online.

  • Do not use copyrighted, trademarked, or proprietary material owned by third parties (including influencer, brand, or celebrity content) without express written permission.

  • Clearly disclose affiliate relationships in compliance with FTC endorsement guidelines (e.g., “I may earn a commission for purchases made through my link.”).

 

7. Termination
YumLit may suspend or terminate participation at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Fraudulent or deceptive activity

  • Misuse of referral links or brand materials

  • Upon termination, all outstanding commissions that have been verified and earned in full compliance with these Terms will be paid. YumLit reserves the right to withhold payment for any commissions generated through fraudulent, deceptive, or non-compliant activity. Once terminated, the Affiliate’s tracking link will be deactivated.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

YumLit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the program. Total liability is limited to the amount of commissions owed but unpaid.

 

9.  Modification

YumLit reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time, with notice posted on our website or emailed to participants. However, YumLit will not implement any modifications or program changes until at least 30 days after the conclusion of the Kickstarter campaign.

 

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

 

11. Acceptance

By signing up for the YumLit Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
